We recently connected again with one of our favorites Lush Cosmetics. If you have ever seen Executive Editor, Jeremiah Williams, in store he is probably smelling and trying everything. To say he is a addict is a slight understatement. After a long shopping trip for his personal restock, Lush provided a few hand selected pieces to sample and review. We of course said absolutely.
Williams is a huge fan of the masks, and things every guys should have one in their bathroom. So we left with one the Lush's most popular mask Mask of Magnaminty. Social Club 19 was on the search for some gym bag essentials for guys, and we found three perfect options: Fig and Leaves soap, New! shampoo, and Breath of God solid perfume.
Mask of Magnaminty
Feel the burn! This mixture of minty tingle with soothing hydration is a great option for a cleansing daily face wash or a rejuvenating face mask. For guy leaving the gym, use this product to help with the annoying breakouts that can happen on chest and back. If you know you are sensitive to peppermint oil, than go for the Seaweed mask instead. Both great products for guys. It is easy to use too. Just grab a glob and rub in on face. Wait 15 min and jump in shower and wash off. If using it to clean up, than use it like you would a soap and rinse. We recommend using the coal face wash before the mask.
GYM BAG ESSENTIALS
While at our local Lush store we found 3 products that are perfect for guys to throw in gym bag.
- FIG and LEAF soap: It has a nice smell for guys, but also some sweet tones that will make people want to smell you. Not only smell but touch. The soap will leave your skin smooth and soft. Bonus!
- NEW!: It is a shampoo disk. Rub the bar in your hair and it will suds up and be your new favorite shampoo. The Disk gives a nice smell of of cinnamon while also stimulating the scalp to increase hair health. These disks are good for guys with short hair because it really messages the scalp as you use it.
- Breath of God Solid Perfume: Leave the overpowering cologne at home and pick up a solid perfume. It comes in an easy stick that you can rub on after the gym and smell clean and fresh without smelling like you just sprayed down with cologne. If the Breath of God isn't your smell than try Karma. Both good choices.
Well guys we hope to see you in Lush next visit!
Oh and we snagged this picture of Williams' bathroom addiction. It is getting out of control.
We would love to see or hear what you thought of your Lush purchase too. Tweet Jeremiah @_Jeremiah_ to let him know. You never know you might end up on Social Club 19.
