LUST: HOUSE OF 5TH SPRING COLLECTION FOR MEN

No matter where you live, it is important to support and buy local. Don't get us started on the reason why you should support local. In our hometown of Indianapolis, we have some great local brands. One of our favorites is our friends over at House of 5th. It started a year-ish ago, when we lusted after the House of 5th, hand printed, graphic scarf. Executive Editor, Jeremiah Williams, then got his hands on a spiked bracelet that would not pass airport security. Creative Director for House of 5th, Truen James, sent us the images for the current Spring collection, and well we are in love. 

I got a chance to ask House of 5th Creative Director about his inspiration for the collection:

The inspiration for this collection was found in street revolution. My muse was Aung San Suu Kyi, a Burmese leader that has become an Internationale symbol of peaceful resistance in the face of opposition. Here personal sacrifices & life long work to free her oppressed people was something that sparked my interest, sometime last year. The more I researched her life and work the more I was also captivated by her timeless style that has clean lines and is culturally significant. I infused the spring collection with brighter colors, cleaner lines, and more subtle hardware. - Truen Jame, House of 5th Creative Director

The collection is a combination of metal accents and bold leather pieces, that are handcrafted in Indianapolis. The bracelets are pieces that are perfect for combining on your wrist, to create a collection of arm candy. It's a hot trend right now.

Although we love a good black accessory, the metal studs secures the need to have it on your wrist. House of 5th created a cool summer combo that comes in hand crafted dyed leather with appropriate accents. Perfect for the beach party.
