EZEKIEL USA, THE PREPPY GUIDE TO LIFE, AND SPRING TREND GUIDE - IT MAKES US HAPPY

What three things made last week a good one? Here is what made Social Club 19's Editor happy.

I am obsessed with short sleeve button down shirts right now. You know when I am obsessed with something because I actually dig through racks to find a good one.

One afternoon I received a text message from the owner of James Dant. He was showing me a shirt from Ezekiel USA that he thought I would dig. He was right. Not only was it in my main color choice, but it has multiple animal print on it. It was perfect, until I noticed that it did not have short sleeves. (Image of shirt clearly in picture to left.)

It didn't bother me from buying it, but I knew it would take some DIY effort. The main reason why I love the Ezekiel USA Spring 2014 stuff is because the shirts are thin, and perfect for all warm months. It is also a huge bonus that the shirts come in a wide selection of patterns. They alone are one of my favorite brands for Summer.

For the record, I did cut off the sleeves to make it have short sleeves. Don't know if you can pull off the short sleeve dress shirt look. Read my 5 tips here.

The Preppy Guide To Life

One of my favorite local bloggers has to be Madison Hanulak of Preppy Guide To Life. She is always dressed fantastically and wearing her pearls. Not to mention Preppy Guide To Life is the opposite of Social Club 19.

Although our aesthetic and perspectives are different, I always have a blast with her. We talk about the ways to continue to promote and highlight our home city of Indianapolis and the fashion that makes us happy. I am also very excited that she is included in an upcoming feature that I can't wait to be able to share with you. I even shaved for the photo shoot. 

The goal is to do a collaboration soon, when our schedules let it happen. Trust me it will be a treat. To put our differences in perspective. She was leaving for California the other night, while I was kicking people out of a bar. So go check out her fancy bits on PreppyGuideToLife.com.
