GOTTA CHECK OUT THIS BRAND: NAKED & FAMOUS DENIM

Not sure where Social Club 19 has been, but recently we have fell for a brand that recently showed at PROJECT Vegas trade show.

It was a Instagram picture posted by GQ that really got our blood flowing for Naked & Famous Denim. Add Naked & Famous to the list of great Canadian brands that we have fell for.

Naked & Famous Denim is a raw denim. That means the quality is put into the actual denim and not into that often annoying embellishment often popular in men's denim. For the love less is more, and in most cases none is the best. Technically "Raw Denim" is denim that has not had any chemical or treatment in the milling process. A lot of denimheads love quality denim. Naked & Famous prides itself in focusing on quality of denim material than in the extra accessories to denim that often takes attention away from the quality.

Checking out the online store, you can get an idea of the range of denim that is offered from the brand. They have some cool fabrics that are used to create the denim. The pair that Social Club 19 fell for is their "WeirdGuy" fitted Stainless Steel Selvedge denim. A dark indigo selvedge denim with a mix of 90% Cotton and 10% Stainless Steel. The fabric is made in Japan and then constructed in Canada.

To be honest there isn't much to them, but the quality makes up for it. The good thing about a lot of Naked & Famous' collections, is that the pieces can be worn in a range of ways. Young urban street wear to a networking business event the denim can be styled in multiple ways.
