Do you know De Fuko?

Social Club 19 could not wait until our holiday gift guide, "Dear Santa", to introduce you to Hanz de Fuko. It will probably be your new favorite hair product for men. The gift guide is featuring our favorite product form the collection. The Hanz de Fuko team was nice enough to send the entire collection to get the full Hanz de Fuko experience. Executive Editor, Jeremiah Williams, has decided that the collection was to good to not share early.

Hanz de Funko is a unique hair care line that is made with certified organic ingredients, natural plant extracts, key vitamins & amino acids, and made and manufactured in the U.S.A. Pretty much its a great natural product that keeps hair healthy and styled at its best for men. Social Club 19 is very familiar with a lot of products in men's haircare. Like many men, we have (or had) our favorite. When another brand wanted Williams to experience their product, he was a little skeptical since he still has some old product in the bathroom.

Williams was pleased to read about all the information that de Fuko provided, but really it comes down to how the product smells, applies, and feels in the hair. Not to mention can it withstand an evening of socializing around Indy. He recently attended a Yelp event and figured it was a perfect time to put the product to the test. "As I get older my hair is getting thinner and I don't want a harsh product in hair that will damage it more. When I was getting ready for the Yelp event I didn't have much hope that my hair would look any different with this product..." said Williams. A benefit with the Hanz de Funko product is that there are some cool stylists who have posted videos with styling advice with their product.

Jeremiah decided to use a mixture of two products: Hanz de Funko Quicksand and Hanz de Funko Modify Pomade. The "Quicksand" is going to be featured in our "Dear Santa" gift guide. So you get the early sneak peek.

The quicksand is a mixture of a salt water spray, dry shampoo, and volumizer all in one. Put it in hair when dry to add gravity defying texture. It was a great pre-product for styling. It gave lift and volume, and when mixed with the pomade it added the right mix of volume, shine and texture. Not to mention the product smells really good too. Probably because it doesn't have the harsh chemicals and synthetic product that other hair care lines often do.

We will be sharing more about Hanz de Fuko later, but we wanted to give you guys the heads up on a great product that we are featuring in our holiday gift guide coming November 11.
