Think Kit 2012 Challenge Day 4

Yea we realize we missed a couple of the challenge days, but we are not letting it get us behind! SmallBox's challenge for day 4 is to talk about the "wisest" decision made in 2012. Now this one was a challenge. For 2012 the wisest decision was to be give into the opportunities that enable a level of RISK.

2012 was the year that launched Social Club 19, but the seed was planted in 2007. Jeremiah Williams, Executive Editor, participated in a fashion show at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Williams had a few sketches of some designs, but never thought he would actually construct any garments. He really didn't see himself as a "designer" but more of a stylist. With some motivation of a few friends and a moment of courage he committed to design 3 pieces for the fashion show. Next think you know the Indianapolis Star weekly print publication listed him as, "One of the Top 7 Designers To Watch" in Indianapolis. It was from that moment that Williams thought of Indianapolis' fashion industry as something real. In order to make that little story more exciting, we have included the fist interview from Williams after the jump.

Since 2007 there has been a real strengthening of Indianapolis' industry. It isn't just a group of creative people glamorizing their hobby, but instead showing that Indianapolis has a talent pool of industry professional talent.

So make some risky choices, you never know what might come from the risk.
