The're BACK! The Starter Jacket was last produced in the mid 90's. The joint effort of G-III Sports, NY Giants legend Carl Banks, and Starter it was announced, leading up to NBA All-Star Week they were coming back. The jacket made famous in the 80's and 90's are making a comeback, with select styles being launched September 2013.
A special preview for retailers, media and players were guests at an invite-only suite at The capital in Houston during an exciting weekend of basketball known as the NBA All-Star game. We were able to get some images of the jacket. Seth Horowitz, President, Men's Division of Iconix Brand Grounp (Starter) said, "We anticipate that the new collection will allow fans to represent their favorite teams, while showcasing the classic Starter Jacket."
