LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

First let me just say how much I continue to appreciate the support from the AMAZING Social Club 19 readers. It is beyond exciting to continuing to produce fresh content, to keep up with the high standards you keep me accountable too. I wanted to share a project that is happening in Indianapolis that I am beyond excited to support. Local industry networking group Pattern, is collaborating with local organizations to launch The Bindery. A creative co-working space that is test running the month of August. Indianapolis has recently been featured in national business publications regarding the success of the tech space in Indy, and the popular co-working space The Speakeasy.

I have been a contributor and supporter of Pattern for the past 2 years. Before I started Social Club 19, I was writing men's fashion articles for Pattern. I have written a few articles about Indy looking at success through collaboration instead of success through competition. A healthy competitive environment is an industry strategy to grow successful start-ups. Is this trend changing?

Co-working spaces have boomed nationally and even globally. As the fashion industry continues to emerge and position itself as a measurable industry in Indianapolis, this test run of The Bindery is pretty sweet.

The space will be open Monday through Friday in August from 9A-5P. The space will offer sewing and fashion design stations. The space is open to all design creatives, this even includes graphic design and digital communication. There will be co-working space set up for their needs too. Lunchtime classes are in the works to share information from experienced industry professionals. A library is being put together with inspiring design publications to encourage creative thinking. The space is free but you need to sign up to reserve your space. You can do that by reserving your work space HERE.

I will be manning The Bindery on Thursdays in August. So feel free to sign up and introduce yourself. Soon I will be revealing the project Social Club 19 will be working on very soon.

Thanks for your continued support,
Jeremiah Williams
