This is the final review of beard products from your favorite bearded gent at SC19. This last review is dedicated to the Bluebeards Original trio of products, provided by Bluebeards Original. The trio includes Bluebeards Original extra conditioning wash, wonder beard intensive repair and their beard saver leave-in conditioner.
The routine of using these products started with the extra conditioning beard wash. After squeezing a small amount on to my hand, and then massaging it into my beard, it instantly started to foam up and take over my beard. I thought I could literally feel it kicking all the dirt out of my beard. Bluebeards Original claims the lime in the product strips the beard of dirt and oil while the aloe in the wash moisturizes the face.
The lime scent is a great way to wake up to if you shower in the morning. Second, my beard instantly felt cleaner, but coarser after using the wash. The wash takes care of the dirt and oil in the beard, which includes the oils that make your beard soft. Beards Original has a beard conditioner to use once or twice a week after washing the beard.
I put the conditioner in my beard after washing and left it in for three minutes, as directed. Wow, did this stuff make my beard soft. I could feel it getting softer every second for the three minutes. The conditioner took care of the coarseness I felt using the beard wash.
After getting out of the shower, I applied their beard saver. This is the product I was most interested in reviewing. After using oils post-shower for the past few weeks, I had had no idea what was in store for me with this leave in conditioner.
I scooped a bit of the conditioner out with my finger, and ran it throughout my beard. This was a great finale to a little extra time spent on my beard in the morning. The beard saver left my mane looking full and shiny all day. It's a great alternative to beard oil, if you are not into that kind of thing.
The trio of products retails at $56.00. If you have a bit of extra cash you want to spend on spoiling your beard, I would tell you to use this series of products from Bluebirds Original.
