4) DENIM JACKET OR VEST:
A trend item that has been popping up the past few spring collections have been a denim jacket or vest. Dsquared2's (link is NSFW) spring campaign had a few looks styled with a denim vest. Here's the thing, denim jackets can quickly get costly. The Levi's denim jacket is an investment piece even on sale, let alone if you are wanting to do a DIY project of turning it into a vest. Check out the thrift stores or big box stores for a decent find. Then bust out the sander and DIY away. The simple denim jacket or vest is a good style choice anyway, because it can work with a wide range of shirts and is a great spring layering piece.

5) TAKE ADVANTAGE OF BOOT SALES:
Some stylist will say you can't wear boots during warm weather. Embrace the boot, in fact take advantage of the fact that many good styles are going on sale. Boots are always a decent choice, unless you are headed to a sandy beach. Plus a basic white V neck, denim and boot is not a bad choice for some patio socializing.
