There is not a reason that even during a "Zombie Apocalypse" there can't be some fashion. Social Club 19's Executive Editor Jeremiah Williams went to the Fall 2012 collections to outfit his zombie squad.
Current events have surged the chatter of zombies and the level of preparedness needed for a "Zombie Apocalypse". Many of the Fall 2012 looks are perfect for outfitting your crew for kicking some zombie ass in style. The time it reaches Apocalyptic levels it will be fall anyway.

TIP 1: Zombie killers can't be walking around with attention getting color blocked outfits. Take your fashion advice from some of Social Club 19's favorite collections and go with monotone black or deep rich colors. Embracing the black tones for Fall12 will assist in saving water on laundry during the water shortage. The key to going to a monochromatic look is to use shades and textures in your outfit.
TIP 2: Have to be ready for anything during the Apocalypse, so make sure you layer your outfits. Its the key for a day out of attacking zombies. Use light weight fabrics and layer in a fitted structured way like the Londen Dager look, or go all "Mad Max" and layer a messy urban look. You never know when you might need one of those layers to do something bad ass.
TIP 3: You better accessorize your look. Leather jackets, torn fabric as scarfs, hats, or metal accents are all the standard recommendations. Plus in case you find yourself in a dark ally with an approaching zombie you can use one of those accessories to assist in self-defense. Band of Outsiders probably has my favorite use of accessories. Nicholas K came in second with the mix of scarfs and and texture around the neck.
TIP 4: You better have some leather in your look. Purely because the bad ass in the movies are always the guy wearing the cool leather pants or at least a leather jacket. (synthetic leather is always encouraged) Many of the Fall12 looks included the sleek material, but don't just run and jump into the next leather pant you see. Not everyone can pull off a leather pant. Start with a leather jacket or even a leather vest, just make sure it doesn't involve fringe or look like you are attempting to join a bike gang. Then again think how bad ass you will look fighting zombies looking like a real super hero from the movies.
Good luck gentleman if the Zombie Apocalypse pops off anytime soon. If not at least the guys of Indianapolis have a heads up of what to expect for Fall 2012. Social Club 19 will let you enjoy the summer before breaking down the fall trends.
